The Social Change Model is like making a s'more. The chocolate represents the individual values, it have many flavor and blends in with other values. The marshmallow represents the groups values, because although it can't easily be changed, it does connect with the individual values. Next, the graham cracker is the societal values, it holds the individual and groups values together and keeps it bonded together. Now we have a cold sweet sandwich. Finally, we add the heat to melt the marshmallow and the chocolate mixing the individual and group values together, which is also absorbed into the graham cracker. Societal values are then slowly integrated into the delicious gooey treat. The heat changes the snack into a sweet delightful dessert leading to an appetizing experience.
